Baliuag University partners with iConcept Global for a faculty development program

internship for web design and developmentBoth iConcept Global Advertising Inc. and Baliuag University recognize the fact that there is a huge discrepancy between the teachings in school and the technical competency required by the marketplace.

“Often, we would encounter applicants who are admittedly not equipped technically. We would ask them about the content management systems that they know and they would give us an uncertain answer,” iConcept President Marlon Owen Cruz observed.

Cruz explained that helping the academe is one of the responsibilities of the company. “It’s our humble gesture of giving back to the institutions that hone the skills of future professionals.”

Baliuag University, one of the recipients of the iConcept’s University Seminar Series, is very positive that giving their faculty members training inside an IT firm will help boost the competency of their students.

The two-part development program is comprised of training in different areas of Internet-based marketing namely, Responsive Web Design and Development, E-commerce Development, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
