iConcept extends help to Typhoon Yolanda Survivors

In their own little ways, iConcept employees send in their donations to help aid the needs of Typhoon Yolanda survivors (Yolanda is internationally named as “Haiyan”). The stack includes pre-loved clothes, bags, drinking water, canned goods, instant noodles, hygiene products (soaps, shampoos, etc.) and baby diapers.

The relief was collected with the help of iConcept’s sister company, iBrains Technologies and was delivered to the capitol of Malolos City, Bulacan.

Claimed as the second deadliest typhoon in the Philippines, Typhoon Yolanda has devastated the Visayas region on November 8, 2013, killing 4,011 people in the country alone. With a stunning speed and strength, Typhoon Yolanda spared no one and nothing – houses, establishments, the rich, the poor, young and old, taking over hard-earned properties, lands, lives.

Our donation may only help few people, yes, but our hearts and prayers goes out to those who were gravely affected and we dearly wish that they will recover soon.  Though the event is unfortunate, what happened manifests the true Filipino spirit – we’re strong, we’re courageous, and we never lose faith.
